College/career journey

Contact: Keith Miller

Every person who connects with Life’s Journey is a vital part of the body of Christ. Every person has a place and purpose to serve Christ no matter what the age or status may be in life. Christ knows exactly what He is doing, and there is never a time where He is calling us to be passive. Christ has paid for our lives to be living testimony of His life, power, mercy and grace.

“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”      --Acts 20:28

This verse tells us that Christ purchased the Church with His own blood, and He is calling out peoples, not just individuals, for His name. Furthermore, we believe that through the lives of college students both vitality and challenges are to be shared in love to the Church. Christ is glorified by a community of believers that declares His sufficiency for them in spite of the circumstances they face. The Church is to engage with its community and one another for His renown and glory. We are not to sit idly, but we are to step up and press in to the opportunities Jesus will give us to impact our community: His world.

Our Banner Scripture:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous man shall live by faith."   --Romans 1:16-17 [emphasis added]

At Life’s Journey we believe wherever we are, we are to glorify God. He is our life, and we have much to glorify Him in. Secondly, we believe wherever we are, we are to make disciples. This means we are to be discipled as well as making disciples. Finally, we are to look for ways to bless others because we are so richly blessed. Come join us.

Passion 2018

Atlanta, GA  //  January 1-3

Rooted in the confession of Isaiah 26:8, Passion exists to glorify God by uniting students in worship, prayer and justice for spiritual awakening in this generation.

From its start in 1995, the Passion movement has had a singular mission—calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most. For us, what matters most is the name and renown of Jesus. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe.

Passion is more than music. More than events. Passion is a generation living for his name.

This year's speakers include Francis Chan, Beth Moore, Levi Lusko, John Piper, Christine Caine, and Louie Giglio. Worship artists include Hillsong United, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, and more.
