Who We Are
Women of Faith // We desire to live a life of faith, certain that the Father is in control of what we do not see. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” “And without faith it is impossible to please God," -Hebrews 11:1, 6
Women of Hope // We desire to journey with hope that in Christ all things hold together. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
Women of Love // We are daughters of the King, pursued by Him with extravagant love! We desire to serve others with His extravagant Love. “No one has ever seen God; but if we love each other, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” -I John 4:12
Our Identity In Christ
I am a child of God because of birth - not my physical birth, but my new birth in Christ. I am a new creation of infinite worth. I am deeply loved, I am completely forgiven. I am holy; I am fully pleasing. I am totally accepted by my Father. I am complete in Christ. The Father has declared that I am righteous because of His work in me. My worth is not based on my performance, but when my performance reflects Christ it reminds me of my new birth. I am unique because of His work in me. When I sit and contemplate this, I cannot contain myself, so I run in the beauty of His work in me. I’m not about circumstances, but I rejoice that my Father is in me, and I am in Him forever and ever, Amen. Our Calling GRACE...FORGIVEN...WASHED AND CLEANSED! God knows your past and sees ahead. The future is already known. He’s calling out our name to lead women to His throne. He sees you where you are and where you desire to be. You are His chosen vessel to give Him praise and dignity. Breathe in and exhale. He is replacing fear with peace. You are beautiful in His sight. There is nothing else you need.
Oceans is our women's small group ministry. We dive deeper together into the joy and fullness that is found is the Lord, walking alongside each other and pressing into the messiness of our daily lives. To get plugged in to a small group, contact Melanie Yepma.
